The PGA Tour’s Corales Puntacana Resort & Club Championship starts on Thursday at the Corales Golf Club in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
Last contested in September, this will be the event’s second appearance on the PGA Tour’s 2020-21 “Super Season.”
The Corales Golf Club is a par 72, 7,670-yard Tom Fazio design.
The field of 132 golfers is competing for $3 million in prize money, including with $540,000 going to the winner, who also collects 300 FedEx Cup points.
A win does not mean a trip to Augusta National for the Masters but a victory would gain the winner this week entry into the 2021 PGA Championship, the 2022 Sentry Tournament of Champions and the 2022 Players Championship.
