Guilford has ended the Illinois Wesleyan men’s golf team run as the top-ranked team in the Division III Bushnell Golfweek Coaches Poll.
Illinois Wesleyan was ranked No. 1 for eight polls in a row but this time around, it’s Guilford’s turn at the top. The Greensboro, North Carolina, college won the Jekyll Island Collegiate on Sunday in Georgia, and saw James Mishoe take medalist honors in the event, his fifth collegiate title.
Methodist got four first-place votes and finds itself ranked second. Huntingdon, Emory and Illinois Wesleyan make up the rest of the top five.
