The Dinah Shore Tournament Course at Mission Hills Country Club is host once again to the first major golf championship of 2021, the ANA Inspiration.
The 119-player field is teeing it up as part of the LPGA’s 50th year at Mission Hills. The tournament became a major in 1983 when it was the Nabisco Dinah Shore.
The purse is $3.1 million and the winner will make the traditional leap into Poppie’s Pond. There have been 28 different winners. The tournament record is 19-under (269) by Dottie Pepper in 1999. The low round of 62 is held by Lorena Ochoa in the first round in 2006.
