AUGUSTA, Ga. — Now, everyone at the Masters Tournament can experience the Crow’s Nest.
In addition to serving as the confines for amateur competitors, Crow’s Nest is the name of the newest beverage inside the concession stands. The wheat ale beer is served in a green souvenir cup with a white outline of the cupola atop the Clubhouse at Augusta National that is part of the famous living quarters.
It can be purchased for $5.
“I’m not a huge fan of beer, but when I saw the cup I had to get one,” said patron Jimmy Burton during Monday’s practice round. “There’s always something new around here.”

The beer has replaced American Craft Beer (Blue Moon), which was first served at the 2016 Masters Tournament with an orange slice. Burton said Crow’s Nest, which is brewed exclusively for the Masters, tasted similar to Blue Moon.
“It has a hint of orange in the aftertaste,” Burton said. “I definitely approve. For sure.”
Also new in the concession stands this April is the breakfast sandwich, which includes bacon, sausage, egg and cheese. It’s $3 instead of the usual $1.50 for a chicken or sausage biscuit.
On the lunch menu, the Augusta National has purged the short-lived chicken wrap and replaced it with a $3 chicken salad sandwich.
Kate Bremer, a first-time visitor to Augusta National, complimented the item, saying, “The bread (brioche bun) is delicious and I love the texture of the chicken salad. I was told that I have to try the egg salad and pimento cheese but I doubt they’ll be better than this.”
