The 2021 Masters is underway and after a lackluster showing last November, Bryson DeChambeau is poised to make a splash this time around, especially after introducing a new driver that could add even more distance.
As part of Golfweek’s coverage, senior writer David Dusek will be tracking DeChambeau throughout the week.
During Wednesday’s practice round, DeChambeau played with Phil Mickelson, who has three green jackets.
DeChambeau doesn’t fear the much firmer and faster conditions Augusta National presents compared to the soft and wet terrain in November. DeChambeau blasted the field and venerable Winged Foot in firm and fast conditions to win the U.S. Open in September. And Bay Hill was very firm and fast when he won the Arnold Palmer Invitational, as was the Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass when he contended in the Players.
Here’s a look at some of the moments with Bryson at the 2021 Masters.
