Bubba Watson has accomplished a lot in his life on the golf course.
The 42-year-old has won 12 times on the PGA Tour, including two major championships at the Masters in 2012 and 2014. He also knows the importance of giving back to the community. Just look what he’s been able to do in his home town Pensacola, Florida.
Watson has donated $1.6 million to The Studer Family Children’s Hospital and is a part owner of the Pensacola Blue Wahoos, a minor league baseball team. He even has plans to run for mayor one day.
“When you do things and become successful, you need to give back. You have to give back,” said Watson during an interview for Golfweek’s Beyond the Course series, sponsored by Rocket Mortgage. “Pensacola has helped raise to me be who I am. It’s a no-brainer for me to go back and help.”
