The Olympic Club’s Lake Course will host a women’s major golf championship for the first time in 2021 with the U.S. Women’s Open.
It will be the 12th course to host both the U.S. Open and the U.S. Women’s Open. It will play as a par 71 measuring 6,457 yards.
The Olympic Club was founded in 1860 as a training center for athletes. The U.S. Golf Association recognizes it as as one of the first 100 golf clubs established in the United States.
Most recently, the club hosted the inaugural U.S. Amateur Four-Ball Championship in 2015.
