Bandari FC midfielder Danson Chetambe has labelled his side’s match against Kariobangi Sharks scheduled for Friday afternoon a must-win one.The Dockers have not won in their last six league outings. Their last win came against Ulinzi Stars in February in Kericho. Sharks on the other hand have lost their last four league matches and this sets up an entertaining match between two out-of-form sides keen on returning to winning ways.Heading into the game that will be played at Mbaraki Sports Club, Chetambe says he anticipates a tough game against William Muluya’s charges as both teams will be keen on ending their winless streaks. He believes that a triumph tomorrow may just turn their fortunes around as it will come with a confidence boost.“It is a tough game but a must-win for us, we have been unlucky in some games but tomorrow we are determined to make things right tomorrow, it is a match that we want to win in order to boost our confidence. After not winning for long, the confidence tends to go down and we are working to ensure that we get an important result. They are 16 points off leaders Tusker FC. Chetambe now says the team should focus on finishing in the top three or top five positions this campaign. He also hopes that next season’s campaign will not be interrupted by COVID-19.“A top three or a top-five finish will be good for us. We will then go and plan for next season. There have been many challenges this season due to COVID-19 that resulted in stoppages and we just hope and pray that next season will be better with no stoppage,” he concluded.
