There were a few problems between Jose Mourinho and Luke Shaw during the Portuguese’s two-and-a-half-year reign at Old Trafford. Misunderstandings weren’t rectified, and they turned into a feud. These things happen when a player and a coach don’t see eye to eye, but they are fixed when someone moves on to another club. But sometimes they don’t go away but instead, turn into obsession – especially when one of those men is Mourinho.There must have been something deeper in the relationship between Jose and Luke because Mourinho simply won’t let go. However, under Ole-Gunnar Solskjaer, Shaw has returned to fitness, regained confidence and was voted Manchester United’s Player of the Season.
