Kakamega Homeboyz aim to arrest two-match winless run

Kakamega Homeboyz are eager to halt their two match win-less run when they accost Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKF PL) debutants Bidco United at the Thika Sub County Stadium on Wednesday.Homeboyz have bagged a point out of a possible six in their last two matches a run which works against their plan to achieve a respectable finish at the end of the season. Coach Nicholas Muyoti, who will once again miss the services of his dependable holding midfielder Francis Omondi who is indisposed, heads into the match with statistics leaning on his side as Homeboyz have won three out of the last four meetings with one match ending evenly.Match DayBidco United vs Kakamega Homeboyz 1 pm, Thika.#WeAreHomeboyz#AbanaBeingo pic.twitter.com/UKNPbs5aOB— Kakamega Homeboyz FC (@FcHomeboyz) June 30, 2021 Omondi who missed their barren draw against KCB for accumulating five yellow cards confirmed that he did not travel to Nairobi due to malaria. However, the retired Kenyan international will have the luxury of fielding Slyvester Owino who has been training with the national U23 team. Owino, one of the season’s revelations believes that they will carry the day despite the threat posed by the hosts. “It will be a tough match as our opponents have been on form. We no longer consider them as newcomers for they have experienced players in the ranks. We are ready to play them and bring our two match win-less run to an end,” said the youthful defender. As Homeboyz will be looking to bounce back to their winning ways, the hosts will be hoping to capitalize on home comfort and avenge first leg 2-0 loss suffered at the Bukhungu Stadium.Tomorrow we are at home against @FcHomeboyz🏟️ Thika Municipal Stadium🕛 3 pm Thika Time🏆BetKing Premier League#Ready4Whatever pic.twitter.com/e5ogAdv5ad— Bidco United (@BidcoUnited) June 29, 2021 The league newbies who have so far punched above their weight in their maiden season in the top flight have never beaten Homeboyz but their experienced midfielder Peter Nzuki is confident of flipping the script today. “We want to fortify our backyard by ensuring that visitors get it rough.
