Masud’s Difaa El Jadidi sucked into relegation battle after draw

Kenyan international Masud Juma missed the matchday squad in Difaa El Jadidi’s 2-2 draw against 10-man Mouloudia Oujda in the Moroccan Botola Pro on Tuesday 29th June.Difaa failed to provide an update on why the Kenyan International missed the clash despite him starting in the last clash against heavyweights Raja Casablanca. The former Bandari FC forward was withdrawn with three minutes left on the clock as Difaa suffered a 2-0 defeat at the hands of the current CAF Confederation Cup finalists.The draw leaves Difaa hovering perilously close to the relegation zone as they now only possess a three points buffer against Youssoufia Berrechid who are in the red zone.

Difaa have now gone five games without a win in the league with Mouloudia who are chasing a CAF Confederation Cup ticket also in poor form having now gone four games without a win. Abdelfettah Hadraf took only five minutes to break the deadlock after Yassine Dahbi was brought down in the penalty area, seconds into the game and the penalty was confirmed after a lengthy Video Assistant Referee (VAR) check.Guinean forward Aboubacar Demba Camara restored parity for Mouloudia, five minutes later after nodding in a cross from the right flank that evaded every Difaa defender to find Camara unmarked on the far post.Camara sealed his brace in the 23rd minute when Lamine Diakite was fouled inside the 18-yard area with the Guinean talisman stepping up to take the penalty and held his nerve to convert and hand Mouloudia the lead.

Things went south for Mouloudia at the stroke of the hour mark when Camara was handed his marching orders for shoving a Difaa player in the face.Difaa made their man advantage count in the 82nd minute when Hamza Darai guided the ball into the back of the net to secure a point for his side.
