Kenyan youngster Alwyn “Chambi” Tera has officially parted ways with Georgian club FC Saburtalo Tbilisi after a six-year stay with the team, the club has confirmed.Chambi, a former Laiser Hill alumnus joined the club back in the 2015/16 season and played his last game with the club this past Thursday, 29th June, getting 84 minutes under his belt before being replaced by Shota Nonikashvili in the 1-1 draw against Samgurali.“Alwyn Terra and Saburtalo’s 6-year relationship ended. The Kenyan midfielder has finished contract with Saburtalo and will continue his career elsewhere. He played his last official match yesterday and said goodbye to the club. He has been with the club since 2015. The midfielder scored 9 times in 154 matches,” the club posted on their official social media page.In 2018, after helping his club to lift the Georgian title at the expense of powerhouse and record champions Dinamo Tbilisi, Tera was named on the bench of that season’s team of the year. In the subsequent year, Tera bagged the FA Cup after beating Locomotive Tbilisi 3-1 in the final.Just a day after running down his contract, the midfielder has reportedly joined Armenian giants FC Ararat on a two-year deal. Tera leaves Saburtalo currently in fourth place on the log. He scored one goal so far this season, making a total of eighteen appearances altogether.
