Former Harambee Stars defender Osborne Monday and former Harambee Starlets duo of Cheris Avilia and Ann Aluoch are among the 60 participants of a CAF C License coaching course organized by Football Kenya Federation that has kicked off today.The course is being run concurrently in Mombasa under the careful guidance of Twahhir Muhiddin and Jones Kyalo while Leonard Odipo and Leonard Saleh take charge of the classes in Nairobi.Osborne Monday was voted MOM in the #GoTvShield match. (@MpendaSpoti) September 29, 2014 The opening ceremony of the course was presided over by the FKF President Nick Mwendwa at the Kenya School of Special Education (KISE), Kasarani.Mwendwa gave an insight on the impact of capacity building of local coaches in improving the standards of football in Kenya, saying that the impact of such course will be felt both at club level as well as at the national team.“This is our 12th CAF C license coaching course and I admire the dedication of this coaches who aim to instill proper knowledge to our young players.Through this, we will be able to have a pool of well trained players in our leagues and the National team and in the long run will help raise the standard of football in the country,” Mwendwa said.Starting today, our Head Coach, @ALUOCHANN1 will be attending a month-long CAF C License Coaching Course organized by @Football_Kenya.All the best Coach…#MUWFC pic.twitter.com/ngJqye7USF— Mathare Women FC (@mathare_women) July 5, 2021 The exercise will run until until the end of the month and will close on Friday, July 30, 2021.In the meantime, two CAF B courses have been lined up, with the first course set to be held between September 6, and December 15, 2021 and the second one to run between November 1, and February 15, 2022.
