FKF urges the government to assist Gor Mahia

Football Kenya Federation, through their CEO Barry Otieno, have urged the government to help Gor Mahia when they kick off their CAF assignments in September.K’Ogalo qualified for CAF Confederation Cup after emerging FKF Cup winners against arch-rivals AFC Leopards in post-match penalties at the Nyayo National Stadium on Sunday.Barry noted that at CAF level Gor Mahia will not only be representing the club but will also be flying the Kenyan flag high and thus the government should consider chipping in to facilitate their logistics.”As a Federation, we want to ensure that they represent Kenya well. It’s a plea to the ministry to consider that Gor Mahia will be representing the whole country, and it would be good if they come in and chip through the sports fund.
