The abrdn Scottish Open has a stacked field this week at The Renaissance Club.
World No. 1 Jon Rahm is joined by Rory McIlroy and Justin Thomas in North Berwick, Scotland, one week ahead of the 149th Open Championship next week.
It’s Rahm’s first event since he won the U.S. Open at Torrey Pines three weeks ago. Rickie Fowler in 2015 was the last American to win the event.
The Renaissance Club sits on about 300 acres along the coastline of the Firth of Forth in North Berwick, Scotland.
The course was designed by Tom Doak and was established in 2008. This is the third year the Scottish Open is being held there.
