Gor Mahia midfielder Kenneth Muguna has called on his team to have a soul searching moment following their 2-1 loss against Tusker which left them eleven points away from the Brewers who currently top the Football Kenya Federation Premier League standings. The talismanic ex skipper fell short of conceding the league title to leaders Tusker as he talked down K’Ogalo’s chances of another rally this season.Defender Eugene Asike clinched the match-winning goal for Tusker in the 90th minute as they stretched Gor’s winless run to four games. But in the club picking only two points from the available 12 in their last four meetings, Muguna, while promising to push till the end, has admitted how herculean a task it will be if they are to defend their title with only nine games left till the season folds up.“We cannot deny the fact that the league is now slipping further and further away from us because the game against Tusker was very crucial to us. Maybe we now need to react as quickly as possible after the loss and we are still not giving up as we intend to fight till the last minute,” the player said.Currently, the record Kenyan champions sit fourth on the log on 39 points.
