Bandari yearning for a top five finish

Bandari FC midfielder Benjamin Mosha has revealed the club’s ambition to achieve a top five finish this season as the 2020/2021 Football Kenya Federation Premier League draws to a close with just less than ten games left to play in this campaign.Last season, by the time the league was brought to a premature end due to the novel covid-19 pandemic that hit the country, Bandari was forced to contend with a ninth placed finish, dropping seven places after finishing the 2018/2019 season in second place.Although they started the ongoing campaign well, sitting as high as third at some point during the season, Bandari currently find themselves in eighth place on 33 points after only registering one win in ten games played.“From the start, our target has always been to finish in the top five if worse comes to worse. We started the season very well but we lost ground a little bit during the middle of the season. Right now, everyone in the team is working knowing very well where our focus lies as the season approaches conclusion. Our aim is on finishing the season strongly and everyone is putting their best foot forward with the hope that we will be able to ultimately achieve our target,” the player told Mozzart Sport.Yule kijana mtanashati wa Mariakani Benjamin Mosha aliekua mfungaji wetu bora wa kombe la FKF BETWAY CUP alipewa kombe lake kwa kuwa na mabao mengi katika kombe hilo. What I just want to do now is to improve on my efficiency and to try and score any chance that comes my way. I am not in any pressure to compete for records or anything like that,” he added.Mpango mzima Kesho ✊ pic.twitter.com/iWFB7gZNcP— Bandari Football Club (@BandariOfficial) July 12, 2021 After losing 2-0 in their last fixture against AFC Leopards, Andre Casa Mbungo’s men will seek to get back to winning ways when they take on Vihiga United in their next encounter on Tuesday. The club has not recorded a win in their last three games, drawing two and losing one.
