The players are taking every match at a time and there is the belief amongst themselves that they will play in the NSL next season. I have warned them against complacency now that we are almost there. Instead, I encourage them to keep working hard until the last fixture,” said the former Mathare Youth coach.
Maina in the meantime expressed his gratitude to their parent sponsors for bankrolling the team and ensuring that player welfare is well taken care of. The former Bidco United coach noted that the incentives from the sponsor had played a massive role in pushing the players to perform well as they have lost twice, drawn three times and won fourteen matches.“We can’t thank our sponsors enough for the role they have been and continue to play in the team. The players always give their best as a way of thanking them for the support they have afforded the team in terms of finances and in other ways,” said the former Mathare United coach.##EDITORS_CHOICE##
