Omondi to steer Posta Rangers in Okumbi’s absentia

Posta Rangers assistant coach Collins Omondi is confident of guiding the team to back to back wins for the time his boss Stanley Okumbi will be away from the team. He prepared the team well before leaving and I feel we are ready for our league assignments. He made my work easier by preparing the team and the best way to thank him is by ensuring that we win our matches,” said the former Kariobangi Sharks assistant coach.

Apart from missing Okumbi, the club will also be without their defensive midfielder Steiner Musasia and forward Josphat Lopaga who are with the Emerging Stars team.In spite of the two players’ unavailability, Omondi said the two will not be missed as there are equally talented replacements who their absence will create room for others to showcase their talents.“Having two players in the team is a motivation to the other players who still have a chance to make to the team. In as much as we wanted the two players in the team, their absence will give other players the chance to play,” added the former Nzoia Sugar coach.
