Being that former club captain Kamura is also on bad books with the technical bench and is not getting play time, the defender was thrust into the starting line up to hold fort.The player did not disappoint. He grabbed his maiden league goal at the club by scoring the opener and grabbed a clean sheet in the 2-0 win over the coastal side in what was only his fourth appearance this season in twenty three games. Although fortuitous circumstances played a part in the former Sony Sugar man getting a rare outing in the starting lineup, the player only has eyes focused on capitalizing on that performance to keep pushing the agenda to the head coach.“It has been three years and even this season, I have not been getting playing time all through the first half of the season. If you get a rare chance like this, it will be foolish if you do not hold onto the chance and fight for it. But I am happy that the injury nightmare is now behind me, I want to enjoy playing more and contributing to the success of the team,” he added.
