Western Stima’s in form youngster Rodgers Ouma has vowed to continue putting in the hard yards as he gets acquainted with playing in the top flight Football Kenya Federation Premier League.The youngster, who is making his debut in the top flight in this 2020/2021 season after only finishing his high school studies last year, has started courting attention in the footballing circles after scoring four goals in his last six appearances for the Kisumu based side.With his last two goals against Kariobangi Sharks and Nzoia Sugar helping Stima to much-needed points as they precariously sit just two points above the relegation places, the youngster’s form is surely set to invite a number of teams around given his ability and room for massive improvement in future.Before a move happens though, the attacking midfielder believes that there is still a long way to go, and the surest way of inching closer to fulfilling his dream is to knuckle down, put in the work and trust in the process.“Although clubs have not approached me yet, I’m just putting my head down to continue giving my best. I am still young and being my first time and season playing the top flight, I really do not want to rush anything for now. I just want to go through all the phases of growth one step at a time and hopefully that will enable me to fulfil the ambitions I have,” he remarked.The teenager, in a previous interview already laid bare his admiration for eleven-time Kenyan champions Tusker FC and has admitted it would be a dream come true if he were to join the current league toppers coached by Robert Matano.“Ever since I started growing up, my dream has always been to join and play for Tusker.
