Babu set to resume duties at All Stars after recovery

Kisumu All Stars head coach Salim Babu is expected to resume work on Monday after recovering from illness which had kept him for almost three weeks.Babu last manned the touchline last month during their 3-0 win over Modern Coast Rangers at the Moi Stadium, Kisumu and has since taken a break to recuperate. The former Western Stima gaffer missed their 4-3 loss to Mt. Kenya United and was left fuming after the club dished a walkover to Silibwet Leons last weekend. All Stars who are commonly referred as Otenga were scheduled to play the league debutants at the Narok Stadium but did not show up prompting the league mangers to gift the latter three points and two goals.Although Babu did not disclose the nature of the illness, he says he proceeded on a sick leave after seeking permission from the management.Full Time’Kisumu All Stars 3:0 Modern CoastTanui 24′, 56′, 78’#Otenga pic.twitter.com/3Dq2ANaggc— Kisumu AllStars FC (@KisumuAllstars) June 12, 2021 “I will resume my duties on Monday next week after recuperating from illness. The last time I was with the team was during our game against Modern Coast Rangers but I was in touch in the away game to Mt.
