Nzoia out to end woeful run against Homeboyz

Nzoia Sugar have gathered some steam in the last two games as they continue their survival bid but face a rejuvenated Kakamega Homeboyz side who possess a superior record against them. The Millers endured an eight-game winless run that saw them hover perilously close to the drop zone but a win against Bidco United and a point against Western Stima have seen them claw back to safety momentarily.Ibrahim Shikanda’s side however have a poor head to head record against Homeboyz after going for six games without plucking maximum points from Abana Beingo.Match Day Nzoia Sugar vs Kakamega Homeboyz 1 pm, ASK Nakuru Showground.#AbanaBeingo pic.twitter.com/avRg6cFumC— Kakamega Homeboyz FC (@FcHomeboyz) July 17, 2021 Speaking to Mozzart Sport, Nzoia custodian Humphrey Katasi was hoping to extend their decent run of form against Homeboyz.“We will approach the game with caution because we need any point from them and we will try as much as possible to convert the chances that we get in the game,”“Our recent form has not been a surprise to me because we were not so badly off as a team, it’s just that we had not been utilizing our chances but when we use our chances we will get something,” said Katasi. With sports being banned in 13 Western region counties, teams from the area have been utilizing the Nakuru Showground as their “home” turf with Homeboyz remaining unbeaten in the gound.↪️ @nzoiasugarfc2 🆚 @KHomeboyz 🏆 @Officialfkfpl 🏟️ Nakuru ASK Grounds📆 17th July 2021🕐 1300hrs#NzoiaSugarVsHomeboyz.
