Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) side, Wazito FC have announced that their former goalkeeper Edwin Kolongo alias Habib Toure has passed on.Kolongo, who was part of the Wazito team that lifted the Nairobi Provincial League title in 2013 on their way to the upper leagues passed on Saturday evening after a short illness. Burial arrangements are currently underway.In a statement posted by Wazito, the club described him as a great shot-stopper who played a part in the team’s promotion from the Provincial League.“Wazito FC fraternity is deeply saddened to learn of the loss of former Wazito FC goalkeeper, Edwin Kolongo. He was a great shot-stopper who helped us win the Nairobi provincial league in 2013.
