He is still waiting for the release so that he can go ahead. He has had two approaches from two teams in the league, Tusker, and Bandari among other clubs,” the source stated.Matasi left Tusker for St. George FC and could be on his way back to the Brewers. https://t.co/Fm8i29tU8B— Mozzart Sport Kenya (@MozzartSportKe) July 19, 2021 Having secured the release letter, the goalkeeper is expected to clear the air about his future as it is understood that Tusker have been keen to secure the signature of their old boy since January. According to the source, the approaches have not been fruitful because of the release letter issue and also because the custodian has been away taking care of his family after getting involved in a gruesome accident back in June.“Tusker have been asking about him since January but he told them to wait until he clears with St George FC. There have been no official offers yet, just the approaches. He has been away taking care of his family since the start of June and has not been in a position to hold talks with either club. Maybe he will do that soon when he comes back to Nairobi. The coach at Bandari has been pushing that he wants to work with him, but Matasi put them on hold also till the release is ready,” he added.Stay tuned.
