Western Stima head coach Juma Abdalla says he understands Vihiga United’s style of play and is ready to suffocate Mike Mururi’s side when the two teams face off at the ASK Grounds in Nakuru on Sunday afternoon. The two sides are both fighting the drop. Stima are 15th in the log with 21 points while United are 16th with 15 points. The Power-men defeated AFC Leopards in their last outing while Vihiga United ended their winless run with a 0-0 draw against City Stars.Ahead of the match on Sunday Juma says he is out to get maximum points from the match as he has a plan to counter United’s style of play. He however admits it’s a tricky match as Mururi’s side is equally fighting to avoid the chop.“It is a very tricky game because we are playing a team that is equally fighting relegation and they will come all out looking for the points and so we have to prepare well and execute our game plan excellently. I know their style of play, they mainly do power play and so we will counter it with our own style to make it difficult for them,” he told Mozzart Sport.⭐| Your player of the week for Matchweek 27 is Karamor Michael of @WesternStima_fc #BKPL pic.twitter.com/WEe2lHwMQZ— Betking Kenya Premier League (@Officialfkfpl) July 23, 2021 The veteran tactician also believes that a win on Sunday will ease their drop fears adding that his players understand just how important it is for them to get maximum points on Sunday.“This is a very important game for us because I believe that if we get a win it will give us some breathing space and it also eases our fears of being relegated. The players understand just important this game is for us and I trust them to give their best to win,” he added. For Juma, the team is battling relegation because they started the season badly.“We are fighting relegation because we started the season badly. But for me, how you start is not important, it’s how you end the season is what matters and we are doing it strongly,” he concluded.
