Sharks’ Erick Kapaito has scored in the last six matches and has 22 for the season while KCB’s Derrick Otanga has been getting important goals for the Bankers in recent goals. He has ten goals to his name this campaign.Sharks coach William Muluya admitted that the league is beyond his team’s reach and will focus on giving players from their youth more playtime.“In the remaining matches because I really have a lean squad you’ll see more young players. We have nothing to lose or anything big that we are yearning for and the best thing to do right now is to promote the youth because that’s what Kariobangi Sharks is made of, because if we do not give these boys a chance then no one else will,” Muluya said.KCB’s Zedekiah Otieno on the other hand is not focused on leaders Tusker. He says his goal is to win in and every game.“We are not looking at the gap between us and any other team. Our minds are on how we can take three points from each game,” he stated.
