Posta out to overwrite draws against Bandari

Will Posta Rangers be fifth time lucky against Bandari after playing to four consecutive draws with The Dockers as the two sides lock horns at the Mbaraki Sports Club on Sunday in a Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) clash. The draws in the last head to head encounters have also coincided with The Mailmen’s four draws in the last six games and are set to be without head coach Stanley Okumbi who is on duty with the Emerging Stars as they continue their quest for the CECAFA Under 23 title.Posta have also picked up 13 draws in the league which is the highest with their closest challenges coincidentally being their opponents of the day Bandari who have drawn 10 times, joint with Ulinzi Stars and Nzoia Sugar. We were privileged to have a visit from Jamal Ato Ibrahim who is an international scout and football agent. Jamal is responsible for managing some of the biggest names in the industry and has been responsible for big moves in the football industry. pic.twitter.com/5FAGYKpbSE— Bandari Football Club (@BandariOfficial) July 24, 2021 Speaking to Mozzart Sport, Posta midfielder Bernard Ondiek admitted that they have their work cut out playing in Mombasa that has long been Bandari’s fortress adding that Okumbi’s absence has not affected them.“In Mombasa, games have never been easy for any opponent but we are also yearning for the three points because we have been registering a number of draws of late, we were supposed to get like seven points but we got four points,”“Even though the coach is not there the program is still his, we have played better because he sends a good program and even in the draws we have not been second best, it’s just that we have not gotten the winning touch,” said Ondiek.Kwa mechi ya Tatu mtawalia! Mchezaji bora ametoka Bandari! Haya basi bila kuchelewa, tumpe hongera za dhati kwa Kijana alietamba pale mchikoni.
