Emerging Stars head coach Stanley Okumbi has expressed his delight at the team’s performance in the ongoing CECAFA U23 tournament in Ethiopia. Emerging Stars have had a perfect start in the tournament, winning all their group stages games to storm into the semis holding a hundred percent record, scoring five goals, and conceding none in the process.Despite the good run, Okumbi says there are areas the team needs to work on ahead of the semifinal against Burundi on Tuesday. But we need to tune our minds and prepare well ahead of the tough match against Burundi. Although we have won all our two games in the group stage, I believe we still have to improve on some aspects,” Okumbi is quoted as saying by CECAFA Media.
