City Stars braced up for first win in post Alagic era

Nairobi City Stars head coach John Amboko will be seeking his first win since taking over his predecessor Sanjin Alagic when they face Bidco United on Monday at the Rauaraka grounds. Amboko took the mantle from the Bosnian a couple of days ago following the expiry of the latter’s two-year contract with the league returnees. The former defender began his second stint at the helm with a barren draw with Vihiga United last week on Wednesday and will face Bidco whom they got promoted to the elite level together last year.Amboko who is glad to have all his players available for selection said he will be hoping to guide the club to its eleventh win of the season as well as revenge for the 1-0 Cup loss suffered in the hands of their match day opponents in last month.NEXT MATCH | Round 27🗓 | Monday 26th July 2021🆚 Bidco United FC🏆 | FKF-PL ⏰ | 1500 EAT🏟 | Ruaraka Grounds #𝕊𝕚𝕞𝕓𝕒𝕎𝕒ℕ𝕒𝕚𝕣𝕠𝕓𝕚BETTER MUST COMEFollow us on Nairobi City Stars FC for all updates. pic.twitter.com/P7UxB3O0Ml— Official Nairobi City Stars Fc (@NrbCityStars) July 25, 2021 City Stars who will scale to a slot within the reach of the top five bracket should they carry the day crashed out of the Cup after falling to Bidco by a solitary strike in a quarter final duel.“The boys are ready to get back to winning ways after playing Vihiga to a draw in our last game.
