Bayern loves Leipzig players: another one could come to Allianz Arena

In order to win the Bundesliga title for the 11th time in a row, Bayern must do a couple of things, and it seems that the Bavarians are doing one of them right now: byuing new players. According to a couple of German newspapers, Bayern has open negotiations to by RB Leipzig’s Marcel Sabitzer.ℹ️ #FCBayern and #RBLeipzig have begun negotiations for Marcel #Sabitzer. https://t.co/TddD5ew0PV— BAYERN DAILY (@_bayerndaily_) August 4, 2021 After buying Ayot Upamecano and the coach Julian Nagelsmann, Bayern are now trying to raid Laipzig and take them their captain, and they are likely to suceed. The versatile midfielder has only one year of his contract and has already informed the club that he doesn’t want to renew, which leaves them with only one option: sell. Off course, they would rather sell the Austrian to another league, but so far, only Bayern are really interested and Nagelsmann is his former coach, so it’s logical that the former Admira Wacker player ends up at the Allianz stadium.Sabitzer’s price will be between 2 and 2.5 billion Ksh which is not really much, considering that any club would get a good, versatile midfielder who can play in a number of positions for that kind of money. For Bayern, central midfield is the most problematic position, as they only have Goretzka and Kimmich, and if one of those two is injured, they are left with Cruisance, Roca and Tolisso. Not good enough for Bundesliga and Champions League.Red alert in Munich: No wins for Bayern in all four pre-season gamesBut, Bayern has already said that any transfer this season must include selling somebody, since the Covid-19 pandemic is having a huge impact on their finances, so it seems that Tolisso or Cruisance (or both) will be sold in order to fund the Sabitzer move. It was expected that such a move would be made eventually, after Bayern failed to win in any of the four preseaon matches, and coach Nagelsmann made a gentle pressure to the board after the Napoli loss.“As a club, we always have the task of sounding out the transfer market. Part of that is whether something is on the market that makes us better and takes us further” said Sabitzer’s ex boss. And the Bayern board understood the message.
