The 2021 World Golf Championships-FedEx St. Jude Invitational returns to TPC Southwind this week for the PGA Tour.
It’s the final WGC event in the Tour’s 2020-21 “super season”. It’s also the second-to-last event before the FedEx Cup Playoffs.
TPC Southwind was designed by architect Ron Prichard with consultation from PGA Tour players Hubert Green and Fuzzy Zoeller. The private golf club opened in 1988 on land once occupied by a dairy farm and in 1989 the Tour started making annual visits to the Memphis area.
The par-70 course will play 7,233 yards. Justin Thomas is the defending champion. This year’s champ will take home $1,890,000.
