Manchester United’s forward Jesse Lingard is Covid-19 positive and will miss today’s friendly match against Everton, the club announced. The player himself posted a tweet confirming the news. Depending on his future health, Lingard could miss the Premier League Round 1 game against Leeds at Old Trafford on Saturday, August 14th. He is isolating in line with Government and Premier League Guidelines.Really gutted to have tested positive after a good pre season, luckily I feel fine and will follow the guidelines and be back with the boys on pitch very soon!
