Tanzanian league offering escape route for FKF Premier League players

Tanzanian sides, Biashara United and Kagera Sugar are after several FKF Premier League players ahead of 2021/22 Tanzanian Premier League campaign.The two teams are handled by Kenyan coaches Patrick Odhiambo and Francis Baraza respectively. Both tacticians are currently in the country negotiating with their targets ahead of possible moves when the season comes to an end on 22nd August.Baraza, who handled Biashara before moving to Kagere in May 2021 says he is eyeing three players from the FKF PL. He wants to sign a striker, a midfielder and a central defender, he disclosed that they are currently in talks with their clubs.”Of course there are players I want to get from the FKF Premier League but I will have to wait until the end of the season, we are currently in negotiations with their clubs. I am looking at three players, a center back, a midfielder and a striker. The team has already roped in Zoo FC’s Ugandan winger Mathew Odongo and is interested in Nzoia Sugar central defender Elvis Ronack and other unnamed players.”It’s true we are interested in Ronack and we are currently in talks with Nzoia over a possible transfer to Biashara United. There are a few other targets that I wouldn’t wish to discuss at this point,” Odhiambo stated.Currently two Kenyan players turn out for Tanzanian Premier League clubs. They are; Joash Onyango who turns out champions Simba SC and Kenneth Muguna who plays for Azam FC.
