Kenya national teams, Harambee Stars and Harambee Starlets have maintained their positions both in the continent and globally in the August FIFA ranking released by the world football governing body on Thursday 12 August.Stars, who have been inactive since March are ranked 23rd in the continent and 104 globally, they have maintained their position because many African nations, including Kenya, have been inactive for the last couple of months.Stars are currently readying themselves for the 2022 World Cup qualification match against Uganda scheduled for 2nd December at the Moi International Sports Center Kasarani. England are fourth while Euro winners Italy are ranked fifth.In East Africa, Uganda ranked 84th are top while Kenya is second, Sudan is third while Rwanda are fourth, Tanzania take the fifth slot.
