South Sudanese striker Tito Okello has confirmed that he will leave the club at the end of the season after the club failed to honour its contractual obligation by not paying him monthly dues. The record league champions are currently in financial turmoil and have not paid their players for a couple of months now. This has resulted in some key players walking out. Kenneth Muguna has joined Azam FC while Charles Momanyi is on the verge of joining Tusker FC. Clifton Miheso has also exited after the expiry of his contract. On Monday the player has warned that he will leave if the club does not settle his dues and a day later he has confirmed that he will not be continuing with Gor beyond the current season. The club owes me a lot of money and if they don’t pay me, I’m going to Uganda after our last game and won’t come back again. They should just give my release letter when the season is done,’’ he told the Daily Nation.Okello added that he has been frustrated playing in the FKF Premier League and wants to return to Uganda to look for another club.“It is a huge amount of money and I know they can’t pay it all. I’m frustrated in a foreign land. I’m waiting for the league to end so that I can go back home and look for another option,” he added.Despite serving a transfer embargo, Gor have recruited Malian keeper Adama Keita.
