Borussia’s secret plan – Raise Haaland’s release clause by 2 billion Ksh

It seems that Borussia’s ‘coolness’ over Erling Haaland’s transfer had it’s deeper roots. Dortmund have resisted to sell the Norwegian star this summer for the fee of 22.5 billion Ksh. And while everybody thought that it was a silly thing to do, since his release clause for 2022 will be ‘only’ 11 billion, the Millionaires had a plan all along. According to ‘Sport 1’, Borussia decided to increase Haaland’s release clause for 2022. Bayern’s sporting director: Of course we are thinking about HaalandBy doing so, they want to assure themselves that they will still make a hefty profit from their striker, as he is most surely to leave Westfalen in 2022. The likes of Manchester United and City are already at the forefront, as Chelsea already brought Lukaku and Barcelona are in a financial mess. Real was one of the favorites for the sign, but it remains to be seen what will happen with them in 2022, especially if they sign Kylian Mbappe. Dortmund plans to raise Haaland’s release clause by 2 billion Ksh and according to Sport 1, Borussia’s chiefs presented their plans to super-agent Mino Raiola and Haaland’s father, Alfe-Inge, during a meeting in April. That raise however, comes with certain conditions, like club’s performance in the upcoming season. It’s not known what Raiola and Alfe-Inge said about this decision.RB LEIPZIG – STUTGARTAnd Borussia’s coach Marco Rose seems to be the only man on the planet right now who still thinks that Haaland may stay in the club beyond the summer of 2022. “He still has a long-term contract with us. Just because the public is constantly talking about him leaving BVB next summer, that doesn’t necessarily have to be the case. In the end, Erling has to decide for himself where he sees his future. In any case, we are happy that he is currently playing for us – and, who knows, possibly it’ll be even more than just one season if we write an extraordinary story here” Rose told Sport Bild.
