- Suzuka race cancelled owing to Covid crisis in country

The 2021 Japanese Grand Prix has been cancelled due to the continuing coronavirus situation in the country.
The Suzuka race was set for 10 October, following the successful staging of the Olympic Games in Tokyo, but will now not take place following discussions with Formula One and the Japanese government. It is the second year in a row that the race has not taken place because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
