Next was Bernard Ondiek in the 18th minute, his shot was saved by Gad.Gad was becoming the busier of the two keepers, in the 25th minute he pulled two superb saves to deny the mail men. First was Lokuwam, he did well to parry his shot before denying Francis Nambute on the rebound.Against the run of play, Gor went 1-0 in the 36th minute. Two minutes later Posta thought they had leveled the scores through Nambute but the offside flag went up.Two minutes before the break Ondiek had a go on goal but his attempt went over. Gad once again proved to be the difference in the 66th minute when he parried a Joshua Nyatini banger from range. Moments later Nambute shot wide from inside the penalty area.Posta upped their tempo in the closing stages of the game but failed to utilize the opportunities they created and in the end Gor picked all the points.”We played very well in the first half, created many chances and we should have scored because Tito (Okello) had a very good chance which the keeper saved, maybe he should have done better in that instance.
