The LPGA returns to famed Carnoustie for the first time since 2011 for the AIG Women’s British Open.
World No. 1 Nelly Korda will tee it up for the first time since winning the gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics. The KPMG Women’s PGA winner is joined by 2021 major winners Patty Tavatanakit (ANA Inspiration), Yuka Saso (U.S. Women’s Open) and Minjee Lee (Amundi Evian Championship).
Sunday won’t just decide who wins the fifth and final major of the season, it’s also the final qualifying event for the 2021 Solheim Cup, which will be held Sept. 10-12 at Inverness Club in Toledo, Ohio. European captain Catriona Matthew will have six picks to make, while U.S. captain Pat Hurst gets three picks to round out the 12-player rosters.
