Nairobi City Stars have moved their final match of the season against KCB, to Narok Stadium following the unavailability of stadiums within the capital as all have been booked for the final round of matches, with Kasarani main stadium, Kasarani Annex, and Nyayo Stadium being used for World U20 Athletics Championship. All games are scheduled to kick off at the same time, 3 PM, and thus City Stars being the home team had to find an alternative, and settled on Narok Stadium. This will be the third time that Simba wa Nairobi will be playing in Narok Stadium, with the other two being against Nzoia Sugar in the season opener and in the return leg in June.“Lately we have been using Ruaraka as our home ground but with the home team Tusker hosting a game on the final day, we were left with little choice but to move out of town. The other alternates such as Utalii and Thika Stadium as well as ASK showground in Nakuru are all booked for that final Sunday,” the club CEO Patrick Korir told the club’s portal.FULL TIME Nzoia Sugar FC 0 Nairobi City Stars 1 #NzoiaVsCityStars#BKPL pic.twitter.com/CZ0kY7v76E— FKF Premier League (@Officialfkfpl) June 25, 2021 The League secretariat had earlier sent a communique to clubs, through their CEOs, alerting them of the simultaneous kick-offs, requiring home teams to secure venues for the matches and communicate the same by Tuesday, 17 August 2021, ruling out doubleheaders for that day.“We have planned for round 34 matches on the same day and time on Sunday 22nd August 2021.
