Posta Rangers head coach Stanley Okumbi has revealed that they could lose some of their defenders to other teams and are set to beef back their entire back line when the transfer window swings open on Monday 23rd August. The Mail-men have had a mixed season, they have struggled with consistency but have managed to get wins against top guns like Tusker FC and Gor Mahia and a draw against AFC Leopards. The former Harambee Stars coach who took over as Posta head coach early this is already planning for next season and one of the key areas that he will focus on this transfer window is his defense. He admitted that he is likely to lose some of his defenders and he is thus going to strengthen the whole back line. Some of the defenders being sought by other clubs are Elvis Osok and Kevin Ouma who are both on Gor Mahia’s radar, assistant captain Suleiman Ngotho has also attracted interest from a number of clubs.“I have to sign a goalkeeper, we also have to get defenders, across the entire back line because we might lose some players to other teams. In midfield, I think we are okay but we need to get someone who’ll play behind the striker,” Okumbi told Mozzart Sport.Full timeGor Mahia 0-1 Posta RangersGor Mahia lose their 6th match of the season to a Posta Rangers that had not won in their last 6 matches. We have already identified some of these players and once the season comes to an end we will make moves,” he added.Posta end the season with an away game against Ulinzi Stars in Nakuru.
