Kariobangi Sharks under 20 goalkeeper Ben Jairo will, at least for the next eight weeks, have to watch footballing action from the sidelines after undergoing surgery for an injury that has effectively ruled him out.The goalkeeper suffered a 5th metacarpal fracture that consequently needed the young gloveman to be wheeled in to the operating room for a correction procedure.Sharks confirmed that the player underwent a successful operation and is expected to stay out of action for the next 8 weeks.“Under 20 goalkeeper Ben Jairo suffered a 5th metacarpal fracture. Onyango suffered a supra-orbital fracture in June and has not featured since then.With only one game left before the 2020/2021 Football Kenya Federation Premier League wraps up, Sharks will be hoping to get the services of the four men in the senior team who have kickstarted the journey to recovery.
