Clear-out looming at Tusker after mass signings

After roping in over 10 players, Tusker FC are set for a major clear-out with almost a similar number of players expected to leave the club in the next few days. The league champions have been very busy in the last few weeks, signing players who will play for the club in next season’s CAF Champions League and domestic assignments. The team has beefed almost all departments and some current players, majority whose contracts are expiring will have to make way.Tusker has roped two goalkeepers in Brian Bwire and Patrick Matasi and are about to let go of two of their current keepers. Tusker’s current keepers are Emery Mvuyekure, Michael Wanjala and Robert Mboya, two of them will exit the club this window.The team has also brought on board three central defenders. They are Clyde Senaji from AFC Leopards, Charles Momanyi from Gor Mahia and Kalos Kirenge from Namungo FC in Tanzania. This is also an indication that a shakeup could be witnessed in the Brewers’ forward line.Reports indicate that the shake-up is likely to affect some key players in the team as coach Robert Matano goes all out to reshape his team for continental duty.
