City Stars bless Bolton’s move back to Tanzania

Nairobi City Stars have wished left-back Bolton Omwenga all the best after confirming that the defender will be joining Tanzania Premiership side Kagera Sugar after a successful stint with the league returnees.Club CEO Patrick Korir confirmed that they had reached an agreement with Kagera Sugar and have thus released the defender to link up with his new club ahead of the new season, wishing the player well in his new challenge.Korir heaped praises on Omwenga, noting that he has been a good servant at City Stars and was very instrumental in their season performance since joining the team, and thus they were releasing him in good faith.“We have reached an agreement with Kagera Sugar and therefore agreed to release him from his contract to allow him [to] pursue a different challenge on the other side. He was a very good servant and very key to our performance. Though we would have wished to keep him for longer, it was also important to allow him [to] take up a good offer.
