Erling Braut Haaland scored the winning goal in added time as Borussia Dortmund snatched a dramatic 3-2 win at home to Hoffenheim on Friday in the Bundesliga. Hoffenheim equalised twice as goals by Dortmund teenagers Giovanni Reyna and Jude Bellingham were cancelled out by Christoph Baumgartner, then Munas Dabbur who levelled in the 90th minute. However, Haaland made sure of the three points for Dortmund when he smashed his sixth goal this season into the net in the 91st minute.Andrej Kramaric, who has scored seven goals in his previous eight appearances against Dortmund, almost added to that run when he hit the post after just three minutes in an electric first half. Hoffenheim goalkeeper Oliver Baumann was forced into action as the hosts grew into the game, saving efforts from Reyna, Manuel Akanji and Donyell Malen. The hosts felt they should’ve been awarded a penalty after 26 minutes when the already booked Baumgartner brought down Marco Reus, but neither the on-field referee or VAR submitted to their appeals.ERLING HAALAND WITH THE 91ST-MINUTE WINNER 🖤💛 pic.twitter.com/HVsBF37gOd— Goal (@goal) August 27, 2021 Marco Rose’s men negotiated a tricky start to the second half but took the lead in the 49th minute, after some good build-up play on the edge of the box, Bellingham slotted the ball through to Reyna who finished ruthlessly past Baumann in front of the ‘Yellow Wall’ to give Dortmund a deserved lead. The goal helped the hosts to keep an incredible record; they’ve now scored in 35 consecutive Bundesliga games.Hoffenheim’s constant threat on the counter-attack finally resulted in a goal for the visitors, when Baumgartner ran off the back of Raphael Guerreiro and slotted a superb finish past Gregor Kobel to draw his side level. The visitors’ joy lasted less than ten minutes though, as Bellingham, architect in-chief for the first goal, was on hand to restore their lead. The ball dropped to him on the edge of the box, and he struck a wicked half-volley into the corner of the net, leaving Baumann with no chance.ERLING HAALAND WITH AN INJURY TIME WINNER FOR DORTMUND! 💛 pic.twitter.com/S1t2GZNRTv— ESPN FC (@ESPNFC) August 27, 2021 The drama wasn’t over yet, as Hoffenheim took advantage of more poor marking from set-pieces to grab what they thought was a last-minute equaliser after Mu’nas Dabbur finished from close range at the back post. Haaland had other ideas, after a melee of last-ditch blocks in the Hoffenheim box, the Norwegian arrived on the scene to slam the ball into the roof of the net from close range to secure all three points. Amazingly, it was his 63rd goal in 64 competitive games for Dortmund, a truly astounding return.BUNDESLIGA – Round 3FridayBorussia Dortmund – Hoffenheim 3-2 (0-0)/Reyna 49, Bellingham 69, Haaland 90+1 – Baumgartner 61, Dabbur 90/Saturday16.30: (2.40) Stuttgart (3.35) Freiburg (2.95)16.30: (1.95) Koln (3.50) Bochum (3.90)16.30: (4.60) Augsburg (3.60) Leverkusen (1.80)16.30: (3.35) Bielefeld (3.35) Eintr.Frankfurt (2.20)16.30: (1.75) Mainz (3.60) Greuther Furth (4.90)19.30: (1.20) Bayern (7.25) Hertha (12.0)Sunday16.30: (2.70) Union Berlin (3.15) M’ gladbach (2.70)18.30: (3.30) Wolfsburg (3.40) RB Leipzig (2.20)***odds are subject to change
