After a season in which a new champion was crowned in NCAA Division II golf, the first coaches poll of the 2021-22 season is out. Arkansas Tech claimed its first national title in program history, but the Wonder Boys debuted second in the Bushnell/Golfweek Division II Preseason Coaches Poll despite receiving 10 first-play votes.
West Florida will open the season ranked first in the poll. The Argonauts claimed four first-place votes.
Last season’s NCAA runner-up Georgia Southwestern was third. Lynn checked in at No. 4. Central Missouri and Barry each tallied a first-place vote and ranked fifth and sixth, respectively.
