Their efforts paid off barely 10 minutes into the game when Nasra Nahimana was brought down by Simba’s custodian Simba and a penalty awarded. Nahimana stepped up to take the resultant kick and made no mistake, slotting past Simba to make the scores 2-1.Seeking to add to their tally and protect their lead, Simba brought in Aisha Mnunka for Asha Djafari with 25 minutes left to play. Simba extended their lead from the spot after a PVP defender handled the ball in the box, and Mawete converted to grab his brace and Simba’s third.
