Bahir Dar presents Uganda with an almost similar weather condition to Nairobi with the cold winds blowing off Ethiopia’s largest water body, Lake Tana (the source of the Blue Nile).Speaking as the team arrived in Ethiopia to pitch camp ahead of the clash, Cranes head coach Milutin Micho Sredojevic highlighted the similarity in weather conditions between the two cities. “We brought the camp to Bahir Dar because of the similarity in weather like Nairobi and the players are adjusting accordingly. Then, the international build-up against Ethiopia will prepare the team for the Kenyan clash,” said Micho.Cranes held their first training session in Bahir Dar on Friday and will go through their paces on Saturday ahead of their friendly clash against Ethiopia on Sunday before taking on Kenya on Wednesday.Theory and demonstration session at team hotel on Friday morning. #FIFAWC2022Q #KENUGA pic.twitter.com/BAmgVmq4MZ— Uganda Cranes (@UgandaCranes) August 27, 2021 Five entrants to the team Moses Waiswa, Joseph Benson Ochaya, Tadeo Lwanga, Khalid Aucho and goalkeeper Isima Watenga all trained alongside the 20-man squad on Friday.
