After curtains came down on the Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) season the country’s football governing body has earmarked Saturday 11 September for the league’s awards gala.The event is set to be hosted at the Safari Park Hotel as an invite-only gala that will be held under the strict guidance of the Covid-19 protocols as outlined by the Ministry of Health.In a letter dated Sunday 29 August, the league organizers revealed that there will be 12 awards to be contested with referees, Team Managers and clubhead honchos also set to bag awards.🌟| The FKF PL gala date is set.Who do you think will go home with the awards?#FKFPL pic.twitter.com/V7xx0JaYhC— FKF Premier League (@Officialfkfpl) August 29, 2021 “There will be a total of 12 categories to be awarded the top being the Most Valuable Player. The Kariobangi Sharks forward will defend the award he last won in 2016 when he plundered 16 goals as he finally broke the 20 goal barrier that had been long-standing since Jesse Were scored 22 goals back in 2015.
